Bob Ross (1942-1995)
 
Bob Ross was a Painter and TV Personality who hosted "The Joy of Painting" on PBS in the mid 1980's -mid 1990's.  He reached millions on the show and taught painting to the masses by using the "wet on wet" painting technique.  This enabled him to complete an entire painting in 1/2 hour.  Bob Ross was well known for his gentle disposition and his humor.  He died in 1995 from lymphoma at the age of 52.
